Perfect For Her Context

IMG_1008

I meant to show you these a whole year ago!
This is Janice Embrey Brown, a docent at the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida. It’s a marvelous museum and she’s a lady who takes her job seriously. That hat is absolutely perfect for her context. One doesn’t want to wear a satin pump atop one’s head in just any work setting, but for this one it’s absolute genius. You also need to know that Ms. Embrey wore this hat with utmost dignity and awesomeness, as one also must.

Don’t wear it if you can’t carry it off, and try to be honest about whether or not you actually can carry it off. I regret that I did not get a photo of Janice’s face. The hat must speak for itself.

  1. So cool! Is it a real shoe or a shoe-shaped hat? Nice and appropriate for an art-museum anyway.
