Hi, Pidgies!!
Three years and some ago, we shared our collective knowledge about transforming regular old shirts into clericals. When I say “collective knowledge” I mean that those of you who sew wrote in and explained how you work this DIY sewing project. I don’t sew, and I don’t wear clericals, so I just sat back and watched you talk about it.
Now, lo these years later, reader Nona writes in asking for a video tutorial. “I’m a visual learner,” she says, and I think it’s a great idea. Would any of you be willing to take on this project for the sake of humankind?
Let me know and we’ll post it here!

I’m headed out of town for meetings, but if no one else has made a video when I return, I’ll give it a try. If nothing else, I should be to help Nona and other visual learners by producing a set of still photos with instructions. A little low tech, but much more in my wheelhouse.
I have modified blouses to use tab-style clerical collars, and band- (or Anglican-)style clerical collars. Which is being asked for here?
The step by step would be great – better than a video, for me, so I can refer to the pictures while working. I wear neckband collars, if that is useful input.
