  1. The boots are totally awesome; however, I also have a calf that most likely would not fit into them. Darn! Of course, I don’t have $199 waiting to be spent on boots. I do have my black Laredo cowboy boots which were $70 at Farm and Fleet.

  2. I get more compliments on my $39 vinyl jobs from Marshall’s. Every time I wear them. Low heel, total comf. I have had to be reassured that I don’t look like the Morton Salt Girl when I wear them with a knee-length skirt.

    I have scrimped like crazy this month and tomorrow I am going to go buy myself a pair of Dansko Rylan boots from the Main Street shoe store. They cost ten times as much as any other pair of footwear I’ve ever purchased, but they are adorable and I will wear them four times a week during the winter for the next ten years, so I’ll get my money’s worth.
