Lift Up Your Heart was created by us, a mother and daughter team, who share a strong faith in God and a passion for paper. When we couldn’t find religious notecards with a modern twist, we decided to design our own.
Emily Christenson is an artist with a master’s degree in design from the University of Baltimore. She lives and works as a freelance designer in Morgantown, West Virginia with her husband, Joel, and her faithful four-legged companion, Phoebe.
Chris Moyer is a member of the administrative staff at a Lutheran church in Vienna, Virginia and has worked as a Director of Christian Education, a preschool teacher, and retail buyer. In her life as a church lady, she has written thousands of thank you notes, birthday cards, and encouraging words!

The cards that I ordered on Aug 27 arrived (to Wisconsin) on Sept 1! They are printed beautifully on nice sturdy card stock. the order came with a handwritten thank you comment from Emily on the invoice. Fabulous, personal service is such a treat! Thank you for the recommendation!
