Annual T-Shirt Audit

Cookies, have you done a stain audit of your T-shirts and thrown out the ones with the big BBQ grease stains, bleach spots or small rips in/on them yet?
It’s time.
Be brave.
PeaceBang saw a seminarian at church with three small grease stains on his polo shirt this summer and was mortified for him. He’s not a new parent, so there’s no excuse for this. (If he was a new parent, he should be applauded just for making it to church.)

Remember, you mouth can say respect and dignity all it wants but if you shirt says sloppy and childish (as in “Mommy used to get out my stains for me, but I haven’t figured out that part of adulthood yet”), that picture is worth a thousand words to those around you. Spruce up.

  1. I _am_ a mom to a baby. I am proud that I make it to church, but I also don’t want to lead looking messed upon. All I can say is thank goodness we robe for the second service. I generally have to nurse the little guy between services, and I’m glad I don’t have to worry to much about drool and other issues showing.

  2. I just threw out a lovely red t-shirt because of some unfixable grease stains. Broke my heart, but I bit the bullet.

Could I also mention that stretched out shirts, especially neck holes, also look tacky? [You could, and I’m glad you did. Condolences on the red T, btw. :::Sad face::: – PB]
