Eyebrows are important! They really are! They frame your face, open your expression, and give you LIFE. If they’re growing all crazy and fuzzy, your brows can make you look old and tired and scowly. Get them shaped! Get them shaped by a professional just once in a while and keep them groomed in between visits.
PeaceBang has very skimpy brows at this point in her life, so she doesn’t so much need to get her brows waxed or threaded as to make sure she takes the two seconds each morning to fill them in a bit. I use either Anastasia powder and a little angled brush or a Benefit soft pencil, which gives less beautiful results but takes literally three seconds to do (the powder takes about 15 seconds).
My new discovery is this lovely highlighting pencil, High Brow by Benefit, (and I found a much less expensive version by Nyx) that you swoop just under your nicely shaped brow, blend, and go forth with a much more open eye than you had seconds before.
Any girl who loves make-up knows about the trick of highlighting the brow with light eyeshadow, but that can take precious seconds that we don’t always have. I LOVE this pencil’s consistency and matte pinkish hue. I use it just below and just above the brow bone and convince myself that maybe that I can put off that eyelid lift for another few years.
I can’t vouch for this Nyx version, but it’s ten bucks and ladies on the interwebs seem to like it fine.

I’m getting that fuzzy brow look (thanks, Dad — I look so much like him!). Any recommendations about where/how to find someone to shape them? I think this would be a good idea for me.
Benefit (the cosmetics ) offer a brow shaping service in the UK…you could ask at the counter wherever you are and see what they say?
