Roll Call

Dear readers,
I just this morning received a lovely fan letter from Pigeon Lynette, a school chaplain from Australia.

Someone joked that this blog has an “international following” the other day, and I said, “It’s no joke!” As far as I know, there are BTFM readers in the following countries:

The United States
Britain
Canada
Sweden
Germany
France
Switzerland
Italy
Central America (I forget which country)
South America (I forget which country)

Let’s take roll call! Where are you reading from?

  1. I am from Finland. Finland is a secular Scandinavian country where more than 80% of the population belong to the Lutheran church. However, a Seventh-Day Adventist Pastor, female, of course, recommends you on her blog. You brighten my day! I am middle-aged and lazy with my appearance but you push me to look presentable! I teach in a community college and my students thank you. If you ever come to this side of the world a small guest room in Helsinki is waiting for you! [How wonderful!!! I would LOVE to visit Finland!! I have close friends in Stockholm so it’s not that impossible! – PB]

  2. What about denominations and pastor vs. non pastor? Non Pastor in Ct. for me.

  3. England (Britian isn’t a country, as such).

And I used to read about you from New Zealand. I’ve seen comments from other New Zealanders over the years…

  4. Seminarian in Oxfordshire, England here! (but I started reading you while on exchange in Berkeley, CA)

  5. United Church of Canada minister in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
I have recommended your site to the students which I have supervised.

  6. I think you can tell from my name 🙂

  7. Wow!!! These responses are blowing me away!! What a joy to hear from you all!!

  8. Chair caner, writer & co-organizer of a diaper pantry program from Brighton Massachusetts. My great grandfather was an Episcopal priest if that helps. I love your fashion tips. Much better styled when I go out nowadays – learned about your blog from a female Methodist minister.

  9. I’m reading from Seoul, South Korea. 🙂
[You ARE??? WOW!!! That’s amazing! I had no idea I had readers in such far-flung places! What are you doing in Seoul? – PB]

  10. Licensed Lay Minister (though my license has run out at the moment) still preaching from time to time in an American Epicopalian church in Clermont Ferrand, France.
I need your help though (being basically lazy and uncordinated!) D’you fancy a holiday in France rummaging through my wardrobes and telling me what suits me & what I should get rid of?! You’d be very welcome!! [Mais oui!!! WHEN!? – PB]

  11. Anglican Priest from Nova Scotia, Canada.. and you can come and check out my wardrobe ANYDAY!!! After 3 children and turning 40, I sure could use the help. 🙂

  12. United Methodist pastor, North Carolina. Been reading you since I started seminary.

  13. My dear PeaceBang you’d be welcome to rootle through my French
wardrobe any time you like! Just give me a week’s notice so I can do some cleaning.
    And that’s true!!

(except this July and August – I’m working in the UK then 🙂 )
