I bought mine the day after the filibuster. First off, they are extremely comfortable and work perfectly for what I bought them for — walking and general, all around athletic shoe. Secondly, they feel kind of magic here in Texas. It’s kind of like wearing a secret handshake — it’s interesting to see who recognizes them and makes a comment. Thirdly, it’s great to see a pair of utilitarian shoes become an overnight power icon.
