…or take it to the local cleaners. We were fortunate that our Music Director’s partner owned a dry cleaning business. Not only was he a whiz at getting wax out of things (altar cloths, mostly) — he also offered (I didn’t even ask!) to clean any church-related cloths or garments FREE. Apparently he did this for any church in town. No wonder he went out of business…
All ye black robed ministers- be careful with any bleaching. It might ruin the whole garment. Would be wise to invest a bit of money and bring it to the dry cleaner’s instead of getting a new robe 😉
