Not MY Holy Father, but this is one cute priest working for the Pope, eh? Yes, I did just objectify a holy man of the Vatican. Because he’s hot! I guess that makes me a sinful Jezebel, but I gave up aspirations to high status in the Roman Catholic Church early on and these fellas will just have to pray for me in Christian forbearance.
The pope has a really beautiful head of hair, doesn’t he? I wonder what kind of shoes he’s wearing. They look comfortable and practical.
Thanks to Cody for sending the photo.

I believe the Holy Father wears Prada.
Georg Gänswein- ordained Archbishop this past Sunday (was a Monsignore before) is said to be the George Clooney of the Vatican.
Yum.
Can we talk about how Father Yum is actually wearing hiking pants that can be turned into shorts at the pull of a zipper? Wouldn’t be my first choice for pairing with clerics but his top half is classy (devastatingly handsome?) enough that I didn’t notice them at first.
I think this photo is taken during a vacation with the Holy Father- I usually see him only in a cassock.
EmJ–I noticed that immediately! But who cares when a person is that good looking.
Or maybe George Clooney is the Father Yum of Hollywood……nah………
I think it’s lovely how they are walking side by side and praying the rosary. Contemplative prayer in motion
I think this is a scene from the set of the new thriller “Vatican”. They look way too spiffy, and the shades…..in my (clearly overactive) imagination he has some big weapon and can climb buildings with the rope hidden in the pocket of those pants. I’ve seen too much James Bond lately, I fear
One more thing:

Father Yum!!! HA HA HA HA!! Yea, I gotta admit I didn’t much care WHAT he was wearing. He is one beautiful item.
Such priests are called Father-What-A-Shame by Catholic women the world over…
Have you been to Rome ? There are so many really hot priests ! [Well, yes, I have. I was there for the culture and the architecture and the gelati, and what I noticed most of all was the desperately poor people begging outside the walls of the Vatican, with all that opulence and treasure inside.... but I'll keep an eye out for the hot priests next time I'm there. - PB]
Well, they are both German and Germans love sensible footwear, therefore I suppose they might wear Ganter (http://www.ganter-shoes.com) or Mephisto (http://www.mephisto.com) – walking in the shoes of the devil, how apt!
