I recently found “Two Friars and A Fool” via Twitter and was perusing their archives when I found this article called “What Not To Wear.” Right up my alley! I missed it when it ran in late July. Much to my surprise, I had apparently talked with the author, the Rev. Rebecca Bowman Woods (my memory for such things is awful — please forgive me! I talk to a LOT of people!) and she quotes me at length and very accurately. The conversation in the comments is also quite interesting and God bless Mick Bradley for referring to me as “Dr. Weinstein.” I just about fell off my chair. I believe that’s a first. I mean, I am Dr. Weinstein, but people generally don’t use that title. LOVE YA, MAN.
This is a great article for those of you who may be new to this blog and wondering if any of these issues really matter. Bowman Woods makes it clear that the work we do here (while we do it in a fun and sometimes silly fashion) is theological reflection on image, self and the incarnational church.

I’m not surprised that my husband said something that made you fall out of your chair 🙂 Just another reminder that you made quite an impression when you visited Louisville last year!
