I totally stole this off Elaine’s Twitpic feed. Everything about it makes me think, “OH, I wish I could go to that service!”
The old-school gothic font on the church sign cracks me up — it’s so classic it feels campy, although I’m sure that isn’t the intention. It’s a sweet little sign. Very homey.
Elaine’s flair and especially her red boots are terrific. This isn’t her preaching outfit, of course, but the image is vibrant, alive, fun and faithful. Preach it on fire, girl! Lord knows we need to hear more about messy family.
