Lovely! Spotted in Trafalgar Square, these chic ladies have paired bright hued skirts with fabulous shoes for an entirely professional look. Fantastic, elegant, feminine, well-done. When your bottom half is that bright, you keep the top half CLASSIC, boys and girls. You don’t add a busy floral top and look like a candidate for Clown College (yes, there is such a thing). You top it with a lovely cardigan or something equally simple and tailored.
This is exactly what I’ve done to give my wardrobe some interest. Since I’m Episcopalian its black shirt and dog collar every day and black on black on black gets old very fast, especially since I’m mid 30s and in Austin Texas.
Colorful skirts (in really good fabrics with good cuts) makes ALL the difference. Now if I could just find a decently tailored clergy shirt.
