General Assembly Outfits

I’m glad one of you asked to see what outfits I’d be wearing to our General Assembly because it forced me to choose exactly what I wanted to wear for each day, and that is going to make packing so much easier, and dressing every day eminently simpler. Thank you. Now all I have to do is figure out how to do make-up and hair every morning! I don’t know exactly what I’ll be wearing on what day, but this is the gist of it. You see I have a uniform of sorts: bold print shirt, solid everything else, big accessories. That’s my standard outfit in life — it’s just a look that I’m drawn to and feel really comfortable and confident in. Oh, and interesting shoes.

Super comfy GA casual day.

  1. LOVE the Pikolino sandals and the funky red earrings! You will look smashing at GA! The ministry days casual outfit is my fave – brown and white always look so good together. I’m a bronze/brown/white kind of girl.

  2. Thanks for sharing your wardrobe choices, PB… it helped me when I packed this evening for my trip to the Left Coast – starting ‘way too early tomorrow morning!

  3. Great outfits! You mention going casual at Ministry Day and dressing up more for GA. That makes sense since you’re presenting, but I have a question about that in general. I tend to dress up more for my colleagues and be more casual (but still appropriate) when I’m just attending GA. What do you think about that? Is that the right tone or should I reverse my attitude? [No, I think you’re right. Good call. – PB]

  4. Love this. Just right, very professional with fun touches (professional does not mean boring, as you have so often noted and demonstrated), very pulled-together. You show ’em, girl!! Thanks for sharing.
