Hm… I’m off to a conference too..a pile of my Anglican colleagues world wide. I’m feeling a tad stuck about what to wear for the “I’m at the conference but just attending stuff” days. Thanks for getting me to think about this I have 48 hours before the plane takes off… (No hotel for me, alas, but a university dorm.)
Along with your travel docs — a printout of critical phone numbers. Electronics can fail or get lost or stolen.

I brought only iPad to a conference recently and found it worked really well. Took notes with iA Writer and then copied them over to Pages during downtime to add formatting (etc). I would bring only the ipad again – so much lighter & more convenient, with much better battery life! [Thanks so much for this! I just downloaded iA Writer and I really like it. So only my iPad is going with me, thanks to you! – PB]
