My dearest readers,
I must now officially announce that I Cannot Keep Up With Your Letters.
I am working through Mount E-mail tonight and have found that there are something like 40 unanswered letters and queries from you since January. I read them all, I star them, I think about them (“hmmm, what can I say to someone who wants to buy only union-made clothes? I feel like I’ve addressed this question before. Did she do a keyword search and check the archives?”). And then I just can’t get to all of them.
I truly apologize for this and beg your forgiveness, as I genuinely hate leaving any of your questions unanswered. But unless some Sugar Daddy wants to hire me a personal secretary, cook, cleaning lady, dog walker and laundress, I’m afraid that full-time ministry and just occasional blogging is all I can manage.
I love you all and wish I could clone myself and answer your questions all day!

I don’t think it is possible nor do I think any of us expect you to answer every letter. IMHO, if you answer things you think are particularly timely or interesting or have wide application, I think that would be great (yeah, and thanks again for the Skype interview answer!!!!!). Don’t sweat it, okay?
I have loved feeling attended to when I ask you things. Even if I run out of money or time to put your advice in motion, you are such wonderful company as I contemplate. But it IS a bit selfish to think that you’d answer everything. How about things that you think apply to a lot of us? Or something you think will make a particularly fun post (fun for you to write = fun for us to read). Or just not answering all of them. We still love you.
You do a great job with your blog. . . . don’t worry about it.
I think we need you in a staff position in the UUA Ministry and Faith Development staff group, just working on clergy image. [If not in the UUA, certainly the Alban Institute or a larger organization -PB]
This is my prayer:
That you will never feel guilt about unanswered emails.
That you will never feel burdened by this branch of your ministry.
That you will ALWAYS feel loved by the community of saints that you continually bless!
