This hilarious little note made me laugh,
Not help, just a note I thought you might enjoy. Thinking about the craziness of the upcoming season, I decided to plan and schedule a day just before Holy Week to get a haircut, eyebrow wax, manicure…put it on the calendar IN INK to make sure that it would be there and I wouldn’t look in the mirror on Maundy Thursday and think, “OMG, I look so ragged!”
Last week I was looking at my calendar and saw the note (strangely enough on Patriot’s Day!) that said, “PB Day” and my first thought was “Peace Bang Day?????” Realized it stood for “Personal Beauty” and laughed, because it was your encouragement that made me realize I needed such a thing!
LOVE IT! I, too, need a PB Day! Thanks for the reminder to schedule it ASAP! And enjoy yours, when you do have it!
I did this, too, though I didn’t call it a PB day. I also did it so that I’d look cute in the post-delivery photos of me and the baby. Yes, I’m really that vain. [LOL!!! Oh my God, that is so hilarious! But really, you’re wise to do this so that when you’re sleep deprived and lost in the beautiful madness of bringing baby home, you’ll not be looking in the mirror going, “God, I should have gotten my hair cut when I had the chance!” When are you due? I am having a housekeeper come on Monday or Tuesday of Holy Week! But I never thought of getting a beauty treatment…hmm…
