I just recently said, when robed, I think good (actually fabulous) shoes are PARTICULARLY important.

I would love a close up of the lace at the neck, from this view it kind of looks like a bib. Do you have it tucked in and kind of puffed or is it lapped over the edge? I think I pictured it being worn like a mock turtleneck tucked in. Kind of close to the skin.
I would love a little more detail of how it is worn. The woman pastor at our church wears a black turtleneck and I think it looks so blah. I think the lace is a pretty alternative just not sure how to wrap it. [Well, we sort of wrapped it like a little ascot. I’ll put up a photo of the lace. – PB]

I thought these shoes were gorgeous when you first got them, but OH MY GOD THEY ARE GORGEOUS.
….And now I’m perusing the Fluevog website and drooling over all of them. I think if I get into grad school, I’m going get these puppies as a reward. Or these, simply gorrrrgeous and practical flats. But then, I love these, with an almost cowboy-flair…. Too many choices!
PB, have you been to the Fluevog store on Newbury Street?? I am loathe to buy shoes online (too many variables!), so I’d prefer shopping in-store…
