Natural Deody-O

I have tried Tom’s of Maine.
I have tried the spray-on salt rock stuff.
I have been devoted to Mitchums for many years, with occasional use of Ban or whatever else is on sale.
But I prefer to use the natural stuff if possible.

And now I have found, and tested in a muggy New England heatwave, a good natural deody-o that WORKS against odor and wetness (although I’m not very sweaty under my arms. Sorry to over-share, but it’s a deodorant review after all!)

Ladles and gentles, Kiss My Face! No, really! Kiss it!

Great stuff, works well, and you don’t have to worry about tons of toxins going into your bloodstream through your pits.

Check it out here.

  1. Peacebang, I will confess that I haven’t used deodorant in over 15 years! Not to worry though, I have been using deodorant stones that I purchased nearly 17 years ago at a holistic health fair. I’m on the 2nd of 3 stones (in 17 years!) and I can’t imagine ever going back to commercial deodorant again. Oh, and I’ve been happily married nearly 20 years so I guess the stone works! [Or… we know it works for your hubby! hee hee – PB]
Glad you found someething natural that you like.

  2. I am alergice to almost all fragrance in deodrants. Even some of the ‘unscented’ ones have fragrance and make me burn, itch and breakout. Alas the last hypoalergenic DO I could find around here -Almay – is no longer available in ANY of our stores.

I’ve wondered about the natural ones and if they work. So thanks bunches for the review – I’ll keep my eyes open, hopefully it will be on the shelves around here soon.

  3. Like you, I tried Tom’s and didn’t care for it.
Now I’ve been using Jason: Tree Tea and its been working good for me.
I’ll keep the Kiss My Face in mind and see if our Giant Eagle which carries some Kiss My Face products, carries this one.
I used to use Clean & Clear – Carribean Cool, but Mennen stopped making it. It was just deodorant, not anti-perspirant and aluminum free. But that’s been years ago.

  4. I’ve used the Kiss my Face solid in lavender, but I’ll have to check out the liquid rock.

  5. I’ve been using that since last year! Love it,

Though I have also been using Thai Crystal Deodorant Stone –bought the tiny size to see whether it would work– and it may work even better.
