PeaceBang would just like to you know that even though she wrenched her lower back the other day and even though she feels all achey and would love to wear her bright green Crocs to her Board Meeting, she is NOT GOING TO. Even though they MATCH her outfit.
She is going to take more Advil and put on REAL SHOES, because she would not insult the hard-working people of her Parish Committee by showing up in HEINOUS PLASTIC CLOGS.

There IS an alternative! Non-high-heeled leather shoes that are comfortable! See Dansko et al… Don’t hurt your back and your feet! There’s also the orthotics option (they make nice 3/4 ones that fit into many women’s shoes.

I hear your temptation. As of now, my council meetings happen on my day off…it’s all I can do not to wear jeans when the rest of the council is sitting there in theirs…but you’re absolutely right…they deserve the respect of a well dressed minister! Hope your shoes don’t cause more harm than good, though…do what’s best for your health in the long run.

Jen, I clicked your name and then your site and saw the FABULOUS glam swimsuits with good coverage you recommended (Newport from Shade clothing) and I want to thank you, I think I may finally have found what I have been looking for — a tankini/one-piece look that doesn’t show all but that is not grandma-ish either and has that old-fashioned star look. Very thirties, forties, fifties. Love it. And love that olive green they have it in. Wahoo!
