I don’t often buy drugstore brands because they’re not cruelty-free, and I’m afraid neither of these makes the grade on that count, either.
But if you’re looking for a very good mascara for not a lot of coin, this is GOOD. I love the brush and the product is gel-like and easy to apply.
A lot of eye shadows make my eyelids itch but this one doesn’t. It’s beautifully pigmented, yay! I HATE when I buy make-up and get it home and what looked so pretty in the package turns out to be so sheer or light you can’t see it on my skin. And who needs that? Maybe if you’re 14 with a perfect complexion and the slightest hint of any product on your face is super glamorous and thrilling, that works for you. I wouldn’t know. By the time I was 14 I was into heavy pancake base and tons of sooty black eyeliner and red lipstick. I wore much heavier make-up as a teenager than I do now.

I don’t know why PB is enabling my mascara addiction. I tried it. It lengthens and separates well. Not as volumizing as I like but little is. My regular practice is to layer two or more different mascaras. I don’t have to suplement this one much at all. Thanks for the rec.
