I don’t often promote specific companies or garments but I came across this very lovely, classic skirt on the Talbot’s website today and it looks like something that you’d get a lot of use out of. At under $50, this is a good deal. Talbots makes clothes that last. Their Misses size goes up to 20, and they have Petites and Plus Sizes, too.
I love the choice of colors. It’s so hard to find skirts in anything other than black or brown or navy. Camel is a wonderful neutral, and the green is very holiday-friendly.
Those are some cute skirts! I’ve got (pause while I count) four similar ones from M & S.
Mine are a long A-line mini skirt (just above the knee), in wool. I’ve got purple, red, black and black & white check. So useful!
I love Talbot’s style and fit as a Petite. The Talbot’s Fairy often visits the local Goodwill with items still bearing tags. The last find was a LBD which had great fit and cost less than a caramel macchiato at Starbucks!
