This video is kind of a laff riot, but not because Chico’s meant for it to be [I’m talking specifically about the tutorial on Oblong Scarves].
First of all, Chico’s style gal, Sher Canada, is so full of lip filler and Botox that she can barely move her face. It’s sad. She concludes the video by saying that the most beautiful thing a woman can wear is her confidence. I agree, Sher, but the fact that you make this statement through such an extremely plastified face sort of undermines your message.
The scarf tying ideas are less than innovative. Nothing wrong with that, but I wonder if they really think women can’t figure out how to wrap a scarf twice around our necks. Funny.
For petite women, that trick of tying the scarf into a kind of vest might be really cool.
At any rate, darlings, it’s a terribly dreary day and I am wicked down in the dumps, so I appreciated the giggle. Hope you do, too.

She is quite something. Goddess bless her. It was good to be reminded of some different ways. Although most of them are the same. And square scarves can be folded into triangles and oblongs. I had forgotten about the doughnut, (I’ll skip the adjective). I tried the vest with one that was too small and one that was too big. It was cool.
