Jones of New York is a great brand but even with the discount can be a bit pricey for a girl on a budget. I’ve mentioned before that I love JC Penney for work trousers – their Worthington brand in modern fit is just perfect. The trousers are machine washable and hold up extremely well (I hang them to dry). I have three pairs that I purchased five years ago and they still look as good as the day I bought them. I get the long length and have them hemmed to wear with my work shoes – it only costs a few bucks at the dry cleaner. With the purchase price and cost of altering I paid around $25 per pair. They are nothing spectacular but are very servicable and comfortable, in a classic style that is always appropriate for work.
