Nerium AD

OOOOOOOOOh boy. PeaceBang is taking the leap here!
Darlings, you know I have been blogging and reviewing products for over seven years here. In that time, I have only accepted samples from vendors and never any freebies in exchange for a mention or a promotion on BTFM. I have had corporate offers to provide samples of their products via this web site, but none of them were products that I could, in all good conscience, promote.

Now, at long last, I am breaking with tradition and promoting a product. It isn’t a miracle product (well, it has felt like that for some people like my cousin, who got me hooked on it) but it’s undeniably very, very good. It works. It does all that stuff that other products promise to do. I think it’s high quality product that is easy and pleasant to use, and I began to see results in 30 days:

In classic “Before and After” style, the sunlight is obviously stronger in the first shot, and I’m not wearing a stitch of make-up. In the “after” shot, I am wearing eye make-up and lip gloss. In both photos I am wearing sun block. You can’t see a huge difference in the skin, but what I am noticing is an evening out of my skin tone, the disappearance of little bumps and bigger swellings, a healing of redness and blotchiness, and already a minimizing of fine lines and crow’s feet.

My cousin’s daughter is over the moon that her acne has totally cleared up. I’d love to hear from more men, as I don’t personally know any who are using it.

I don’t want to give anyone a hard sell, but this is the first time I’ve been impressed enough by a product to buy into it and sell it. I’m a “brand partner,” which just means that I bought some inventory and — actually, I’m not sure what I do with it! I need to read some of those e-mails that Nerium International has been sending me (they’re typically obnoxiously cheerleadery about making me into a Nerium Zombie, and I have neither the time nor the interest in that). I just want to get this into the hands of people who are looking for an excellent skin care product that works, has been clinically tested, and is going to help them look their best. Simple as that.

You can read about it all here. I have a couple of bottles that I give out for people to try for 10-14 days and then I ask for it back. Let me know if you’re interested in trying it on a trial basis. If you just want to buy it, it’s easy to buy a bottle through my link. It’s $110 for a 4-6 week supply (one bottle) and $80 per bottle if you do auto-delivery. If I get three of you to sign up for auto delivery I get mine free. If I sell more than that I get some kind of commission.

Here’s how you use it. Wash your face at night. Make sure your face is still moist, pump two squirts of Nerium into your hands and emulsify by rubbing your hands together real quick, apply with sweeping strokes all over your face, and repeat the same thing with one pump of Nerium AD to your chest if you want to protect that skin from the effects of aging, too (and I do). It smells like cucumber and aloe, sort of. A fresh smell. It dries in a minute or two, you feel a nice kind of lifting sensation, you go to bed. When you wake up, you rinse your face (no need to wash) and apply your moisturizer and/or sun screen.

Thanks for listening to my little spiel!

Here’s a whole big explanation by Lee Lessack, another Nerium zombie,

Nerium AD is a botanical night cream that was “discovered accidentally” when skin cancer research was being conducted at MD Anderson in Texas. People in the clinical trials (for topical skin cancer treatment) began to notice diminishing of fine lines and wrinkles, clearing of sun-damage and age spots, overall firming, clearing of rosacea, acne, scarring, and general improvement in the tone and texture of their skin, which kept improving with continued use. Thus Nerium AD was born. The main ingredient in Nerium AD is the organic Nerium Oleander (NAE-8) molecule, which coupled with aloe-vera (the second ingredient) is suitable for all skin types.

Third party clinical studies by ST&T Labs proved Nerium to be far more effective as an anti-aging product than anything else on the market . Usually skin products with 3-5% efficacy are considered to be effective and marketable skin products. Nerium AD tested to be up to 65% effective in diminishing fine lines and wrinkles and clearing skin problems of all types in a 90 day period. In fact, when the astonishing results initially came back from ST&T Labs, the scientists thought there had been a mistake so they retested Nerium AD to prove that their calculations had been correct.

The upshot of this skincare breakthrough is that Botox, Juviderm (and other toxic injectables and fillers), facelifts, eye lifts, and invasive surgeries will soon become obsolete [I doubt it! – PB], as Nerium AD achieves the same results through continued use. The advantage to using Nerium over Botox is that the person is still able to use their facial muscles to express themselves. There is no atrophy of the face with Nerium, which lifts and firms the face naturally.

There are very impressive before and after pictures here: http://90daygallery.com/

Nerium AD is very simple to use. During the day, use the skin care products you’ve been using and apply Nerium at night after you wash your face. (You leave your skin slightly damp and then apply Nerium.) You can also put it on your hands and chest and neck; it is safe to use anywhere on the body.
Nerium International is partnered with Nerium Biotech, and 30% of the proceeds from Nerium AD fund further research for cancer treatments, HIV/AIDS treatments, and other medical research using the Nerium Oleander molecule. It is interesting to note that this plant has been used for medicinal purposes since ancient Egypt. Also, please note that Nerium AD is not tested on animals.”

Me again: believe me, I asked every question I could think of before I bought into this. I made sure that the company was committed to ethical business practices and sustainability in farming the nerium oleander plant, that it paid its farmers fairly and that it didn’t test on animals.

  1. I really hate how these things rarely list ingredients. I have very sensitive skin, fragrances make my nose run and make me sneeze, and I have had allergic reactions (face swelling!) to products in the past. It’s really pretty important that I know what is in products I put on my face, because once you have an allergic reaction that involves swelling above your neck, another reaction could cause swelling in your throat, which is life-threatening. I really hate how prissy all this sounds, but it takes a lot of effort to find even hand lotion that doesn’t cause a reaction. 🙁

  2. I’m excited to try it! You wrote previously about getting a botox treatment — do you think you might get botox again, or does Nerium AD make it unnecessary? [Well, Botox gave me a constant headache for about ten days, so I’m not going back for more. I’m going to assume that continued use of Nerium will blast those forehead wrinkles for me. – PB]

  3. Checking the web — looks like some have not had such great results — calling it a “cult” – but whatever works. Ingredients listed here:

[Ha! Oh my, that’s quite a website. Well, it definitely has that culty feel for some, and that either irritates me or makes me laugh – depending on the day and whether or not I’ve had my coffee. My cousin Missy is driving us all crazy with her Nerium Zombie enthusiasm, for instance. But I love her and I tried the product because I know her and trust her and she was so psyched about the whole thing – AND she wants to get rich as a saleswoman – I was willing to try it. And I liked it a lot. I don’t get super serious about the SCIENCE in any product — but this at least had clinical trials and there’s no doubt in my mind that the combination of ingredients works. I’m a huge product junkie and I appreciate having found something that can put my endless search for the best treatment to rest – at least for now. This product and Skinceuticals CE Ferulic are the only things I would passionately recommend and swear to on a stack of Bibles. – PB]

  4. Hi PeaceBang – one of your fans here – I’d love to buy one bottle of the Nerium. How do I go about it? thank you for all you do.[Hi Julia – thanks! I’ll e-mail you. – PB]

  5. Oh sad! Aloe is like poison to my face 🙁
[Bummer! I learned some years ago when I was using it straight on my face as a moisturizer with bad results that a lot of people are actually allergic to it. – PB]

  6. *Love* Skinceuticals CE Ferulic. My spa got me hooked on it and some of their other products. One reason why I trust my spa staff so much. Besides with a name like “3000 BC,” they were clearly made for me.

  7. Hi, PB. Long-time lurker, big-time fan. I’d also like to buy one bottle. Could you email me, too?

    Thanks!
