Your Easter Eyes

Howdy, dearies. BTFM is going to turn SIX years old any day now — can you believe it? How many of you have been reading since 2006? Raise your hands and get a special gold star and kiss of peace.

Back in 2006 I wrote one of my first entries ever on applying Easter morning eye make-up to erase the dark circles you so honorably earned during Holy Week, and to perk up your face. It was pretty elaborate!

Since I penned that post, so much has changed. But it’s fun to look back and see what we were talking about way back then.

Don’t you be doing this, now. But I have to admit: I SO wish I could rock that color some day and do it without looking like a deranged cat lady.

Perhaps for Halloween or as a consultant for drag queens?

Actually, think about the drag queen consultant. Your design sense and theatrical training combined with your pastoral skills and ministry to encourage wholeness and healing might bear fruit in unexpected ways. It could be a nice little retirement gig down in Key West for a few months of the year. 😉

  2. I remember that post! I did not realize I’d been here right at the beginning, but I think I had just started reading PeaceBang shortly before that. I also loved the post on getting ready for winter time & pulling out the woolies.
