Pigeons, this is a pretty good product for those of you want a little help in the dewy and fresh department but who don’t want to look “made up.” I use the very pink Look On The Bright Side shade.
This is a mineral cream blush that is moisturizing and very sheer, in what we call a “buildable” formula, which means that you contol how much intensity and color you want by adding product a bit at a time. Use clean fingers with this product: dab it on the apples of your cheeks and blend. The formula is so sheer that I don’t think it would show up at all on bare skin. I am wearing a foundation by Tarte that I’ll review later. I also have doubts that any of Philosophy’s shades for this product would show up very well at all on brown or black skin shades, although it would work very well as an illuminator for anyone, as it reflects light beautifully.
This is not a glowing review (ha ha! pun!) as I would not recommend this as your standard blush, but I do like the fact that it creates more glow than actual color, which might be a preference for some people.
