I had never seen her in anything before, but I will always love Megan. SO MUCH.

Remember, these people are getting paid TONS of money to look perfect, let’s see how they do! Please keep in mind the east-west coast time lag of a few seconds and refrain from congratulating the winners until everyone on both coasts know who got the naked gold man.
Very fun. And boy howdy, you had to be QUICK to keep up with these folks. Very mixed feelings about Megan. Melissa McCarthy is a great comedic actress, and it’s amazing that a summer movie with apparently a lot of pooping in it got a performance nominated for an Oscar. And I hate that you’ve got an overweight woman shown as pathetic, unattractive and less than the skinny twigs around her. I haven’t seen the whole thing, so my hope is that she gets to come out in a lovely dress, made up and looking fabulous. But the clips I’ve seen so far make me upset. [You need to see it. That’s all I have to say. She’s not pathetic in the least. Nor is she less than in any way. She’s independent, self-confident, makes tons of money, has a position of power, and has a great end-of the movie surprise sex scene that had me rolling in hysterics. SEE IT! – PB]
Have you never watched Gilmore Girls?!? LOVED her as Sukey — BFF and caterer. One of my favorite tv shows of all time.
Yes, I was going to comment about Gilmore Girls too! You really should go back and watch from the beginning. It’s a wonderfully irreverent show full of small town charm! And Melissa McCarthy is fantastic in it as well!
