3. I thought the only silly hat you wore to a graduation was a tam or a mortar board (We had to wear them to Baccalaureate at McCormick).

8. I wore a tiara to mine. And a black and white polka dot dress and sandals under my cassock and alb. I could do no other, since the title of my thesis was: “The Princess in the Pulpit: Preaching Like a Girl.” The survey of what we wear in the pulpit is worth the price alone–and it’s free on the Internet!
