We lost the wonderful Patrick Swayze today to cancer.
Mr. Swayze’s creation, Miss Vida Boheme in “To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar,” was a major inspiration for the voice and character of PeaceBang as I was creating this blog.
When I don’t have the PeaceBang mojo, I simply channel Miss Vida and suddenly I have LOTS to say!
Blessings upon his memory.

We’ll miss you, Patrick Swayze. One of the few remaining celebrities with bundles of talent and a successful marriage. RIP.
Wow. Now I have to watch the movie. I admit, I had no idea he could be so beautiful as a woman.
I’m probably showing my age/youth when I say that I remember Patrick Swayze most from “Overboard”. My husband is a big “Roadhouse” fan. 🙂 🙁
Crap. I just realized Kurt Russel was in Overbard and not Swayze. It’s been a long day. *sigh*
He will be missed. He was the Gene Kelly for our time. I also will have to watch that movie. I had no idea he would look so darn good as a woman.
