I do adore Liv Tyler but I’m going to have to use her as a bad example just this once.
Winter white is LOVELY! It’s CLASSY! It’s DIFFERENT for more formal affairs where everyone else is wearing black.
But don’t get excited, girls. Even if you’re tall and slim, on non-movie stars this suit is dangerously Mother of the Bride. Even Liv can’t pull it off. Light-colored suits can do that to the best of us. Hem the skirt, on the other hand, add a fun clutch, and you could be in business for the holidays (although what’s with the big chunky black shoon, Liv? Why not strappy gold sandals, for example?).
