Hey gang,
Michael writes to say,
“I don’t think I’d have had the courage to order shoes from a brand I’d never tried on from a website I’d never used if it hadn’t been for BTFM. And now I have comfy, stylish shoes for my first day in the new pulpit!”
Thanks to all you fellers who wrote in with tips for brand-newbie minister Michael, giving him more options than he would otherwise have had.
Mazel tov, Michael! Let us know how your debut in the pulpit goes!

See, now I’m dying to know which shoes he picked.
ME TOO.
Sure!
For my new black dress shoes, I went with the Bostonian Hayward (http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7296470/c/3.html). I’d originally ordered the Asby (http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7297238/c/3.html), but when they arrived, they looked like clown shoes on my 12EE feet and weren’t comfortable AT ALL. So I returned them! The second try worked.
I also got a pair of these (http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7337624/c/665.html) in tan (tan shoes! wonderful with business casual khaki pants! whod’a thunk it?), because I do love shoes so. They are like walking in butter-filled slippers.

OK, butter-filled slippers with good arch support.

Those are great!!! (Teasing a bunch of women by talking about shoe-shopping but not actually showing the shoes… good grief.)
Mr. M just bought these: http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/23854652/c/72.html, and lace-less shoes where quite a departure for him, but I hear they’re very comfy.
Oh, Michael, those are beautiful (both pairs). Yay you!
