Weight Falling Off
September 9, 2006 on 1:43 am | In Feeding The Pastor, Self Care |By the way, Anonymous who wrote in a few days ago to say that you had had a nutritional epiphany of some kind and that the weight was falling off like mad, congratulations!
Can you tell us more about your nutritional conversion?
We’d love to hear about it.
Cheers, PeaceBang

Absolutely. I am always witnessing, these days.
Do you have an e-mail address I can send it to?

I’d love to hear about the nutritional conversion as well! (sacredcenter@aol.com)
By the way PeaceBang, I actually had a dream about you last night, even though I have never seen you. (In the dream you have medium length dark hair) I saw you in a restaurant in NYC, you were dining with two other friends, but I recognized you from your shoes! (and maybe a little eavesdropping . . .) You were very gracious and welcomed me to join you all, which I did briefly, but I was also a little embarassed to be wearing an unconstructed Flax-y skirt, knowing what you must have been thinking!
I’m sure the dream reveals loads about my own insecurities!
Blessings to you, Christine

I stubble on your sit today and fell in love. I have always felt that because of my profession (or at lest will be) I had to hide or be ashamed of my love for cloths, fashion, shoes, and all things makeup. It is nice to know that there are others female minister who worry about what to wear to the pool party and are these really appropriate shoes for church. Thank for being a bright voice in the church world of ill fitting grey suits.
On a side note I toyed with a theology of fashion while in seminary but it never got very far. The premise was that when people find cloths that they feel comfortable in, fit well, and they know they look good it can be a life changing event. Let me know what you think.
