Me, too. I used to be in a lectionary group with her.
If she’s serious, then preaching is a lot harder on the feet than I ever thought it to be.
And Jerry Falwell is surprisingly short (although his wearing stillettos is less than surprising). :}
I did wear a pair of 4″ cork wedgie sandals to everything today and managed to zip around alright. I don’t preach in high heels because my pulpit is up a flight of little stairs and I would just plain fall down or get my heel caught in my robes. But I love the NOTION of preaching in stilletos.
