Ghastly White Zombie Glow Sunscreen

This is an awesome sunscreen you can use if you’re interested in obtaining a fashionable zombie glow, or if you’re starring in “Sweeney Todd” and you need an all-natural make-up for that ominous Victorian murderer effect you need for the second act. I think they should change the name of this product from Derma-e Antioxidant Natural Sunscreen to Ghastly White Zombie Face Sunblock. The kids would snatch it right up!

As you can tell, I hate it. Sorry I bought it, but I don’t think I scared anyone on the beach too much, and now I just use it on my chest.

Stick with Skinceuticals or Neutrogena or Josie Maran. Do a keyword search or archive search to find out what I mean, dolls. Smooches.

  1. Paula’s Choice – available on line makes several good sunscreens – I especially like her 50 SPF for heavy sunning

  2. I am a sunblock goddess/test monkey. I have tried them ALL and am usually left looking like Casper the Friendly–if Annoyed–Ghost by any zinc oxide based product. I am now using Societe Prime and Defend on my face. It’s matte, very lightly tinted, and wears like a primer or one of those silicone-bases “blur” products that are now so popular. It’s expensive, but a small bottle lasts about 4 months. Totally worth the $45 investment. I LOVE it. I use Skinceuticals on the rest of my white, white, white, white skin.

  3. Amy (and others,) from the EWG list, I use the California Baby stick for my sensitive skinned face, and we use Alba all summer long. Both are effective and wear really well. Because they are mineral sunscreens, they do take some rubbing in to minimize the white, but it works for us. I use the CB during the year as my under-moisturizer sunscreen and it works really well.
