I keep starting big new posts about summer wear and stuff, but I’m just really tired. Post-Easter and budget season and interviewing for summer interns and plantar fascitis and all.
Sorry I’m no fun and no help, but I just don’t have a lot of PeaceBang pizzazz right now. The first year in a new congregation is such a steep learning curve! And also I am doing things like arranging to have an electrician install a ceiling fan in my living room, which means I have to choose a ceiling fan. Ain’t nobody got time for that!
My feet are getting better and I attribute that to a wonderful reflexology session I got and also to some very good shoes by Saucony that I bought at an outlet. I also found a pair of Ecco shoes 50% off that are scrumptiously comfortable and perfect for church. They’ll be my summer worship shoes. They’re not exactly sexy or anything – more like what Maria Von Trapp would wear out to dinner, but they’ll work with my wardrobe. And they’re NOT SANDALS, because I still feel that sandals are too casual for me to wear to church when I’m preaching. That’s not a hard and fast commitment, just a general comfort thing for me.
Is anyone watching “Ru Paul’s Drag Race?” Who’s your favorite?
More later, I promise. Lots of love. Take good care of yourselves and eat your greens. xoxo PB
