Elly! Your husband and mine must be twins separated at birth. Mine refuses to laugh at New Yorker cartoons, even though I know he thinks they are funny, just to aggravate me. I fixed him–I used one for his 40th birthday party invitation.

I grew up Catholic, with no meat on Fridays during Lent, except for the year that St. Patrick’s day fell on a Friday in Lent. Our Irish priest ordered us to have corned beef and cabbage!
