They are totally my off-duty style and I am wearing them right now with bare feet (love the shearling lining!), black pants tucked in, a grey babydoll sweater with big buttons and a black T-shirt under the grey. These are the first snow boots I’ve purchased in a long time that I won’t feel like a huge frump wearing, and they’re cute enough to wear with skirts.
A little bit rock and roll gypsy and even prettier in real life.

THIS JUST IN: I am going to have to return them because two grommets fell off the very first day I wore them! Sad face!
Couldn’t a shoe repair joint replace them? Seems like a lot of bother.
So wait – does this mean I can get away with wearing tall boots? I don’t mean for work, I mean ever… I live in NYC and I’m surrounded by people wearing the most amazing tall boots, but I’m a short (5’2″) heavy woman and I’m not sure how to pull the whole outfit together.
