My darling readers,
A bit of housekeeping!
I get so many wonderful questions and photos from you and although I read them all faithfully and file them under various supposedly helpful labels in my gmail account, I don’t always post the responses on-line that I intend to. Blogging for me is a flibbertigibbit type of activity. My posts are composed fast and furiously during a momentary break in the day (or late at night as a way of winding down, and posted later), and almost always on a whim. There’s no real plan or schedule (unless it’s in the summer when I have longer stretches of free time to strategize posts a bit).
So if you have been expecting to see your question or photo here, do know that it might yet appear and I do love you and I do answer about 95% of my mail, with sincere apologies to that 5% whose notes slip through the cracks. As you know, the pastor’s e-mail in-box is a scary thing, and mine no less so than yours.
I just wanted to say that while I was thinking of it! And it’s always okay to write to ask me what happened to that big feature I was going to do about you.
I also wanted to report that I had a lovely blind date today with one of you who lives close by enough for us to meet. What fun it was! I have yet to meet a BTFM reader with whom I didn’t have immediate rapport and delight. Ministry is fascinating and I love hearing about yours whenever possible.
Have a beautiful, confident, shining week.
Kiss of peace,
PB
Aww. You are so incredibly thoughtful to post this. I’m not a minister, but I am a UU with an interest in fashion, so I really enjoy your blog. I can feel your grace and ministry from the great geographical distance that stands between us. 🙂
If you are EVER in England, do let me know, and we’ll make a way to see each other. Or, if you’re coming to AAR….
