Gobble, gobble, darlings!! We’re getting geared up for the big day and posting this as a little teaser for more columns to come!

Just some really pretty clothes seen in Portland, Maine:

I LOVE grey:

I’m all happy because I’m at the Village Candle factory, loading up on gifts. I LOVE their candles. Crisp Apple is my favorite:

I was mad as hell at the state of Maine when I went (for their vote against marriage equality) and vowed not to spend any money in the state, but some gay friends told me to calm down and reconsider. Because I believe in buying local and supporting smaller businesses, I wound up satisfied to have purchased some made-in-Maine candles and food stuffs (Stonewall Kitchens).

Lovely appetizer recipe idea:

Spread a bunch of Stonewall Kitchens Roasted Garlic and Onion Jam on a Boboli or other crust.
Sprinkle with crumbled gorgonzola or other pungent cheese of your choice.
Bake at 350 until cheese melts. Serve in small wedges with a nice red wine.

  1. Great idea for the jam! I have some in my cupboard right now – I think I’ll try this!

  2. That gray top is fabuloso, but only if you are Skinny. Otherwise, too much fabric. But I love it anyway.
