Click here and look at the gal in the black tank top. Those jeans definitely pass PeaceBang’s Good Enough For Work test. I still wouldn’t wear jeans to any blessing but the MOST informal (blessing cars would fall into that category, but not much else that I can think of!), but these are terrific for lots of things: a day at the office, a dinner with parishioners, a clergy gathering (top them with a fun jacket or pretty sweater), etc. They’re terrific, and that’s just the shade of denim you want for professional wear.

Am I the only one who found that Gap website creepy? All those little stick thin models wriggling and posing all over my computer?

Dockers has some really nice dark, dark denim jeans this season. The pair I got has a bit of a flare at the bottom, isn’t cut too low, and has a bit of stretch. They are my new favorite casual pants!
Unfortunately, Gap seems to have discontinued my favorite mid-rise jean- the “Essential” jean. 🙁 Just when my pair is starting to show the first signs of wear at the hem. It’s a wider-leg that is perfect for my ultra-casual office environment.
Yeah, JUST when you find that perfect garment/shoe/accessory, the company discontinues it. I’m having that trouble with boots now…
I can personally attest to the comfort level of the “Curvy” Gap Jeans. Back when I had a small waist and a big booty, they were really good.
