These are cute. Just as cute as they were in 1989 when I wore them with baby doll dresses and bike shorts. I just can’t do it again.

Can’t do it again? You should. Mary Jane’s are a classic for a reason; there’s a current of alt.chick that lurks beneath the librarian exterior. You seem reliable, but at the same time able to suggest hip restaurants.
I’m with you on this, PB. I think I wore the hell out of black mary janes in the 90s. Eventually it’s time to move on.
