Nerium Update

My, how the months fly by! The work of ministry is so intense, demanding and fulfilling, we forget to talk about SKIN CARE. But of course that is where Yours Truly comes in, your fairy godmother of ministerial beautification and self-care.

As you may recall, I started using Nerium AD last summer and although I liked the results, I didn’t experience anything really amazing for a few months. At this point, I wouldn’t live without the stuff. If my house caught on fire I would grab my dog, cat and bottle of Nerium and run screaming out into the street for the fire department.

Because look.

It softens, it brightens, it erases little lines and relaxes ones that are starting. It erases age spots. It replaces night creams and nighttime eye creams. It smells good. It works.

I’m forty-seven years old and have sensitive, blotchy skin. When I use Nerium AD nightly, I have smooth, clear skin. I feel good, I don’t have to spend as much time on make-up (I use a tinted moisturizer by Nars and that’s it). If you become a Preferred Customer you can actually choose the option to have the product delivered once every 6 or 8 weeks if once a month is too frequent.

I’ve had a slew of compliments recently that reminded me to report back in with you. I’m not into the hard sell – I became a Nerium vendor not because I have any time at all to devote to promoting this product but because I love it so much I wanted to be able to put my name behind it in a committed way. Click here if you’re interested in ordering through me. There’s a 30-day money back guaranteed trial. My goal is simply to get enough Nerium Zombies so that mine is free. That’s my nefarious plot for skin care world domination.

We’ll Be Right Back!

Darlings, I know you’re just ITCHING to hear what PB has to say about First Lady Bangs, and other topics. Soon, soon!

Kiss of peace, MWAH!

(Thanks to dear colleague David B. for sending me this hilarious photo. God BLESS this poor soul).

Thy Rod And Thy Staff, They Comfort Me

I was tickled this morning when I opened an e-mail from a freelance writer inquiring about working for me, “even for no pay.”

This is a terrible economy and I admire anyone out drumming up some employment for themselves but if there’s a free-lance market for making money blogging, honey, I haven’t heard of it!

I do get jealous sometime when I hear about bloggers who make it big and make their writing their full-time employment, but they’re not clergy. They’re fashionistas or sports people or political pundits who can sell ads on their blogs and make enough revenue to support themselves.

At any rate, I wrote back to the gal and said that I don’t have any writing staff, it’s just me, and I don’t get paid a penny to blog so there’s no wealth to spread around. My readers are my writing staff!

I do accept freewill contributions in the form of lipsticks, Keurig tea and coffee pods, books and cash money. I am always touched and deeply appreciative when you send tributes (oh my gosh, that word has such icky connotations to it since “The Hunger Games” doesn’t it?) and make gifts to thank me for a post or phone conversation that especially helped you.

One of you just set me up with a great supply of decaf Earl Grey, and I think I’ll go have a cup. We sure have been having some crummy, damp weather here of late. Tea is good for me old bones. Oh, and speaking of THOSE, I have started taking glucosamine chrondroitin and my nighttime achey hips and knees seem to be improving. I’ll report back in a couple of weeks on the longer term effect as the weather gets colder.

Cheers, dears.

Nerium AD: Question Response

Wil asked if Nerium AD has included people of color in its testing. I found this Before and After shot from their materials. This seems to be having good results with hyper-pigmentation on the upper lip and chin, as well as on other skin imperfections.

If I find any more specific information or quotes from the Mother Ship, I’ll share them.

New Banner Art By Rev. Whitney Wilkinson!

This new BTFM banner is the submission of Presby pastor Whitney Wilkinson. So fun, love the colors! Whitney designed this from a collage I posted on my Facebook page, so now we need to figure out who the artist is and if they grant permission for me to use this image.

Artist, are you out there? Rev. Gidget, is this yours?

How do you like it, pigeons?
I’m off to Maine, so don’t freak if your comment doesn’t appear right away.

Kiss o’ peace, PB
