Great Lippy

What a beautiful, fresh lipstick color that I think would look wonderful on just about any woman, no matter her age or skin/hair color.

  1. Nice color, but you can see an outline from the lip pencil. Ick! [Many of us and our colleagues should look so “ick.” – PB]

  2. Oh, I almost forgot to ask…
What are those “things” on her shoulder and hip?! Looks like some sort of sci-fi deep sea creature. What a way to ruin on otherwise pretty gown.

  3. @hafidha sofia – just reporting the facts, ma’am. It’s a little out of my budget, too. It is a great color, but I would have to really want it to fork over that kind of cash.

  4. Yep, pricey.

On the other hand, when I consider the $5 price of the 6 lipsticks in my drawer I bought, then didn’t like the color, thus never wear…one well-chosen $26 tube might not be such a bad deal.

  5. @Shalom – true. It’s a great color. Maybe if they have it in a department store and one can try it out … but I never go to those makeup counters. I’m too intimidated! I always imagine my face is too oily, dry, uneven, etc. to be looked at so closely by another human being who doesn’t love me.

  6. I love love love this color but I much prefer long-wearing lipstick. I get a very similar effect by applying two coats of BeneTint on my lips, followed up with PB-recommended Revlon Colorstay Overtime in Bare Maximum.
[I know! If this was a long-wearing shade I’d buy TWO! – PB]
