my daughter is always on the look out for the tacky holiday ties. She is in high school jazz band and the wear black pants, white shirts, plain flats – but the director lets them “go wild” with the tie.

I like the first two for anyone, but the Christmas tree is a bit overstated if you’re going for a classic look. I would wear it, but choir singers can get away with splashier stuff.

Two cents on the poll items – I like the designs well enough, but something about how they interact with the bust doesn’t sit quite right with me, so to speak. The designs could highlight an odd and unintended shape. Probably just me. I’d have to see it in person.

…but I thought that gay apparel meant well tailored clothing in nice fabrics with stylish, but not vulgar, accessories? At least it does for most of the guys I know. [Ha Ha Ha, darling. I actually kind of like the long sleeved tee with gem snowflake — and your idea of wearing under denim jacket with long skirt (and boots, of course). There’s a CJ Banks here and I might just check it out later today, since tomorrow’s sermon is done!

Brilliant! I’m doing a post on ugly Christmas sweaters tomorrow–I’ll include a link to this for how to do it RIGHT.

(Aforementioned post inspired by discovering that if you search for “ugly sweaters” on eBay you get over 3,000 results, nearly all of which are Christmas-related.)
