PB, between this post and the earlier one on young women clergy, I think I’m seeing a theme. Can’t we just say that no one should dress like a skank ho? Regardless of age?
I think that may sum it up. [Well, as much as I just giggled over that mean little term, it's important to recognize that one person's "skank ho" is another person's "oh, don't you look adorable!" The point is that the bar has been lowered so much on appropriate attire that people are genuinely confused, and unless one has a good sense of how things look, self-image, etc., it's fairly easy to get sucked in to bad trends. Therefore, detailed advice is more necessary than ever! - PB]
