I got these cutie Clarks this weekend; they came in lots of colors. http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/37052603/c/72.html

Comfy as can be, too. I opted for navy, which is actually more like a grayish medium blue. Very neutral.
[Oh my gosh, how cute is right! And you sent me a pair, too, right? Size 6.5. HOW NICE OF YOU!! ;-) - PB]

I have the same problem. When I find a pair that fits and feels good I buy several at a time. Looks good? I don't even try on the ones that don't look good. I have three pairs of Hush Puppy Bounce walking shoes--have worn out one pair. I have not worn heels since I discovered Aerosoles, or the same shoe under whatever name.

I'm currently wearing a very comfortable pair of black low heel Trotters brand shoes to work. My only hope for a little style is that I wear them with snazzy diamond pattern L'eggs trouser socks or Cushy Foot brand fishnet socks. I bought the socks at CVS. Have a great day!
Yes, this is an ongoing problem for me as well. Had to junk a couple of well worn pairs of sandals because they were well...worn and had stretched and rubbed my feet. I did find a cute pair at the W-Mart, believe it or not that fit, don't have a 3 inch wedge, are comfortable and look decent. Also lucked into a pair of White Mountains at Kohls to replace my worn ones.
It is so hard to find a comfortable sandal, that works with dresses and with which you can walk through miles of corridors at hospitals and nursing homes. (This is, of course, even harder when you are 10-11 W!!)
Oh, designers of sandals and shoes - wake up, and don't pinch our toes, ache our knees, and hurt the balls of our feet!

I SWEAR by my Born brown sandals. I wore them all through GA last year and they didn't hurt my feet like the coral wedges from Sofft (which I also love, and the footbeds are desperately comfy, but I think they're a scootch too small) after prancing around the Portland convention center all day.

Enjoy, PB, and if you see them in black, could grab an extra pair for me!!

I was complaining to my mom about a similar problem in my search for decently-priced, comfortable but stylish black shoes the other day. My mom responded, "your problem is, you want your shoes to BE comfortable but to LOOK uncomfortable."

Yes. That is exactly it. Why can't the shoe people solve this problem??

I've had incredible luck with Naturalizer's sandals. Not their shoes or pumps, mind you, just their sandals. Reliably darling and comfortable. (Warning: I love very dainty shoes.)
