It set me back $150 but you know what? I just can't do my day in cheap cute shoes any more. Too old, too fat. So darling, do what you have to do. I think a Sunday shoe, if it has a heel at all, HAS to have good support. No more scrawny little heels for this meatball -- too hard on the knees. That could have been my concern at yesterday's service, too! My feet were killing me in these cute black boots I got at Payless's fall boot sale last year. After leading the two services I hobbled out to the car and couldn't wait to come home and peel the blessed things off of me. (But people in the church had MUCH bigger, more pressing, and more serious concerns than that, so I refrained from lighting anything but the chalice.) Peacebang!
