It looks fine on 14 year old, 90-pound girls (sometimes), but this does not work for hardly anyone else. I was reading <i>Vogue</i> and <i>Glamour</i> on the plane last weekend and it was just page and after page of celebrities donning these looks. Apparently we have Kate Moss to blame for bringing back the 80s. Thanks, Kate! You trendsetter, you!<br/><br/>Blech! Let's hope this is over by next summer! I tried on a shapeless smocky top at Lord & Taylor the other day and upon seeing myself in the mirror said, "Oh God, I already DID this, and it was ugly THEN."<br/>I firmly believe that the way to get through this awful time is to stick with sane garments, stay with what flatters, do include a pop of 80's whimsy in accessories where they're not ridiculous, and AVOID LEGGINGS AT ALL COSTS.
